Conclusion

The RPSC APO Preliminary Examination 2026 is a crucial first step for candidates aspiring to join the Prosecution Department of Rajasthan. With a dual focus on core criminal law statutes (both new and repealed codes) and language proficiency, the examination demands comprehensive preparation across a wide statutory base. Candidates should note that the Preliminary marks are not counted in the final merit — however, qualifying it is essential to advance to the Written Main Examination. Aspirants are advised to refer to the official RPSC notification for any further updates.
