What Is AILET and Who Conducts It?

The All-India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is conducted annually by the National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) for admission to its prestigious: 

  • 5-Year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Programme 
  • 1-Year LL.M. Programme 
  • Ph.D. in Law Programme 

NLU Delhi is not part of CLAT and conducts its independent entrance test. AILET is known for its rigorous and competitive structure.

When Is AILET 2026 Scheduled?

As per the official notification released on 17th June 2025, AILET 2026 will be conducted on: 

    • Date: Sunday, 7th December 2025 
    • Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM 
    • Mode: Offline (Pen and Paper) 
    • Level: All-India
