How to Prepare GK for UP APO?

1. General Science

  • Cover the basics of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from NCERT textbooks (Class 6–10). 
  • Focus on: human body systems, diseases, nutrition, everyday applications of science, and space research in India. 
  • Supplement with updates from ISRO and CSIR official websites for recent developments. 

2. Current Affairs (National & International)

  • Follow Press Information Bureau (PIB), PRS Legislative Research, and official ministry websites for government schemes, policies, and bills. 
  • For international relations, refer to MEA (Ministry of External Affairs) press releases. 
  • Keep track of one reliable daily newspaper for current events (both national and Uttar Pradesh-specific). 

3. History of India & National Movement

  • Read NCERT History textbooks (Class 6–12) for Ancient, Medieval, and Modern History.
